Sarah’s hatha yoga class is a fusion of a variety of different yoga styles to keep things fresh, varied, challenging but also fun. A typical class will include dynamic flowing sequences to build cardio fitness and heat and more ‘mindful’ work where postures are held a little longer to build muscular strength and greater mind-body awareness. After the hard work we slow down and complete a series of ‘floor sequences’ before finishing with a well-earned relaxation. Some weeks we may use different props and tools to vary the practice (e.g. like the wall); others we may follow a ‘theme’ for a few weeks or focus on a particular pose. Each class includes time to work on effective core strengthening and postural alignment which is the key to developing a happy, healthy yoga practice. This class is suitable for all levels of yoga experience; you will always be given different options to suit where you are at in your yoga journey.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of each class. If you are not there by this time, and the class is fully booked, your place may be offered to someone wanting to drop in. This will be considered a late cancellation and no refund or alternative will be offered.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Mats and other equipment are provided by Aylesbury Yoga Centre.
