Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga with Ishwara.

Ishwara has been teaching Kundalini Yoga for 4 years. Prior to this she was a student attending a regular class for 4 years.

Kundalini Yoga is often referred to as “The Yoga of Awareness”. The health system of Kundalini Yoga was often used by the Sikhs to encourage their wellbeing and warrior status.

Kundalini yoga was brought to the west in 1969 from India by Yogi Bhajan. This ancient yoga gives one an awareness and fortitude to allow the subconscious mind to clear limiting beliefs and patterns to awaken our full potential. The yoga set begins with a mantra of protection called the Adi Mantra. This technical and spiritual link will guide the kundalini energy through our body. Our class is a synergistic combination of warm ups, repetitive movements,  mantras and meditations. The emphasis is the flow of the kriya. This is a specific sequence of exercises and meditations for a desired outcome and have specific timings.

In kundalini yoga ones experience can go straight to the heart. It is a powerful dynamic tool that allows your soul to be uplifted and bring forth its capacity to shine. It is the practice of a person’s excellence, not only developing one’s belief system, awareness and understanding but also improving and maintaining our physical health and well being.

This class is suitable for everyone with or without prior yoga experience.

Learn from this ancient system the knowledge to empower your well being.
